Linda Bengtzing back in Melodifestivalen with a Stjernberg song?

Swedish tabloid Nöjesbladet can reveal that Linda Bengtzing will be competing in Melodifestivalen for the 6th time next year. Her song is said to have been written by no less than Melodifestivalen 2013 winner: Robin Stjernberg!  Robin represented Sweden on home soil and came 14th in Malmö. According to an insider who has heard the song already, it’s a ”kitschy song, exactly the type of song that has worked well previously in the competition for Linda, so her fans are going to be satisfied”.

Next to that, SVT is also said to have started a hunt on Molly Sandén. Molly has participated in Melodifestivalen twice before, reaching the final both times, coming 11th in 2009 and 5th in 2012. Molly has had hits the last 2 years, like Freak and Like No One’s Watching and according to a well-informed source, SVT even sees her as a winner candidate for this edition. That’s why they are doing everything they can to convince her to take part this year. A source close to the Melodifestivalen board says: ”Now is exactly the right time for her to compete, she could win it altogether!”.

The third name Nöjesbladet can release today, is that of Eclipse. A rockband founded in 1999 and which has been a well-established band on the Swedish hard rock scene.

These are confirmed for Melodifestivalen so far, according to Nöjesbladet:
