Zena Donnelly is the fourth Irish qualifier!

Tonight, was held the 4th semi-final of the Irish national final for Junior Eurovision. Zena Donelly, who is 13 years old secured her place for the Final, which will be held on November 8th, next Sunday. The 3 judges that are in charge of choosing the winner of Junior Eurovision Eire, and the first ever Irish representative in Junior Eurovision, are Niamh Kavanagh, Brian Kennedy and Stiofán Ó Fearail.

During the first semi-final, David Kennedy obtained his ticket for the Final, with his song called ”Fuar” (”Cold”, in English). He was the only boy to participate to the first semi-final. He is 13 years old. He wrote the song himself, with the help of Emma O’Reilly.

During the second semi-final, Aimee Banks, with her magical voice, qualified for the Final. She is also 13 years old. Her song is called ”Réalta Na Mara”. Aimee Banks wrote the song with the help of Niall Mooney, Jonas Gladnikoff & Brendan McCarthy.

During the third semi-final, Muireann Vaughan impressed the judges with her song ”An Miongháire” (”The smile”, in English). Muireann, who is 15 years old, wrote her song all by herself. Here’s her performance during the third semi-final:

During the fourth semi-final, Zena Donelly, who is also 13 years old, joined the 3 other qualifiers. She sang her song called ”I d’Aonair”, that she dedicated to a friend that was being bullied.

    2) Aimee Banks
    3) Muireann Vaughan
    4) David Kennedy

    I think though that Aimee is going to win next Sunday & represent Ireland in the Junior Vision..
