TODAY: Expertcheck round in Switzerland

Today at 13:00 CET the “Expertcheck” round before Swiss National Final will take place in Zurich. 19 candidates will perform their songs on stage and fight for the right to participate in Entscheidungsshow scheduled for 13th February 2016 in Kreuzlingen. Sven Epiney will host the Expertcheck and the livestream will be available HERE. The results of Expertcheck round will be revealed at the end of the audition.

According to the rules only 6 acts will qualify to the final in Kreuzlingen. Broadcasters SRF and RTR will have three songs in the final round, that means seven will be eliminated by jury today.

  • Rykka (Meilen) «The Last Of Our Kind»
  • Patric Scott feat. Abdullah Alhussainy (Sargans) «No Boundaries»
  • Sunanda (Arlesheim) «Ooops!?!»
  • Evelyn Zangger (Tann) «Have A Little Faith In Me»

French-language broadcaster RTS has six acts in the Expertcheck round and only two of them will be selected to the final.

  • Stéphanie Palazzo (Onex-Genf) «Perché mi guardi cosi?»
  • Stéphanie Sandoz (Commugny) «Flashback»
  • Loic Schumacher (Ensival, Belgium)  «Génération demain»
  • Gina von Glasow (Forch) «Left With An Idiot»

Finally Italian-language broadcaster will be represented by three singers in Expertcheck and only one will qualify to the final in Kreuzlingen.

On 13th February six finalists will not only perform their Eurovision songs on stage but also present covers of popular songs of their own choice. Jury and the audience will decide who should represent Switzerland in Sweden. Tickets for Entscheidungsshow will be available at the end of December 2015.
