Sestre wowed the Slovenian audience on Christmas Day!

The drag act which represented Slovenia in Eurovision back in 2002, who made their big come-back this year at the Eurovision Gala Night in Luxembourg, decided to finish their comeback year as spectacular as possible – with a concert on a Christmas Day!

The producer and composer of Sestre’s Eurovision entry, Magnifico (he also competed in the Slovenian National Final in 1998 with the song “Silvija“, which is still huge radio hit in Slovenia), invited the three ladies to perform at his concert on December 25th. The audience was louder than the group itself at points, which meant that Sestre are still a massive hit, and they are not forgotten even after so many years of break from the music scene. We have to mention that this performance of Sestre’s was their first performance in front of a Slovenian audience in over six years. The concert was sold out, and as we can see in the video below, Slovenians were more than excited by their performance.

Marlenna, Michelle and Emperatrizz are still a bit mysterious about their upcoming project, which will be premiered in the spring. Until then, take a look at their amazing performance in Ljubljana as well as our interview with them at Eurovision Gala Night in Luxembourg, and you can also follow them on their Facebook and Instagram to keep up with all of their latest news.

Sestre’s Eurovision entry “Samo Ljubezen” finished in 13th place in Tallinn, scoring 33 points.
