Six artists to compete in a national final in Spain!

TVE, Spanish national broadcaster, has just announced that six artists are going to compete in a national final, in order to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016!

After an internal selection this year, where Edurne was selected to represent Spain with “Amanecer”, TVE decided to go back to a national final, or a similar format used in 2014 – when Ruth Lorenzo won with “Dancing In The Rain”, and brought Spain a 10th place in the Grand Final. Even though there are rumours going around saying that artists like Maverick, Maria Isabel, Raul Gomez, and Xuxo Jones will be competing, no names have been confirmed yet by TVE. TVE just stated that “Six young artists with a lot of talent” will be competing in this national selection.

TVE also invites you to propose which singers you would like to see competing in the Spanish national final for Eurovision 2016 by using the hashtag #euroapuesta. So who would you like to see representing Spain in Eurovision 2016 in Stockholm?
