Only a few days ago, we reported that Poland will select their Eurovision entry for Stockholm in a national final – Krajowe Eliminacje. Now we can reveal all the information regarding the selection process.
Everyone is allowed to submit a song to TVP by the 8th of February. Other than the standard Eurovision rules, there are no restrictions when it comes to the song which are being entered. A special jury will then listen through all of the submitted songs, and select up to 10 songs for the national final. The names of the participants will be announced by the 16th of February.
Krajowe Eliminacje will take place on the 5th of March, and will be broadcast live on TVP1 starting from 21:25 CET. The winner, and the next Eurovision entrant for Poland will be decided by televoting only.
The last time Krajowe Eliminacje was used to select the Polish Eurovision entry was back in 2011 when Magdalena Tul won with “Jestem”, and unfortunately finished last in her semi final in Dusseldorf.
