It’s also known, who’ll compose their Eurovision entry. Band went to Sweden to record 2016 Cypriot Eurovision entry by themself, among with well-known Thomas G:Son, who also composed a lot of Eurovision entries so far, as well as Swedish entry from 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, when he won the competition, thanks to Loreen, who performed his song “Euphoria“. G:Son also composed two Eurovision entries last year – Spanish entry “Amanecer“, performed by Edurne & “Warrior“, performed by Nina Sublatti for Georgia.
Can Minus One bring 62nd edition of Eurovision to Cyprus next year? Well, we have to wait until May 14th, when we’ll know who won the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden.
Cyprus’ first appearance was back in 1981, and they are yet to win an event. Last year John Karayiannis was representing this country, with a song “One Thing I Should Have Done“. He ended 22nd in Grand Final, scoring 11 points.
