After a null points in Vienna last year with Ann Sophie who finished second in the German national final, and after selecting Xavier Naidoo for Stockholm and withdrawing the offer, NDR is going to organize a national final where the public is going to select who will represent Germany in Stockholm.
“Unser Lied für Stockholm” (Eng. Our song for Stockholm) will take place on the 25th of February, and a total of 10 acts are going to compete to be Germany’s next Eurovision entry. The participant list is not finalized just yet, so their names will be announced in due time. The winner of “Unser Lied für Stockholm” will be selected by televoting only.
Rumours have been going around the Internet in the past few days that the participant list will include Mia, BOY, Olli Schulz, AnnenMayKantereit, Benne, Joris, Namika, Cäthe, Wilhelm tell me, Malky, Miu and Sara Hartmann. None of these names have officially been confirmed so far.
