Andrzej Piaseczny announced as guest act for Polish National Final

The director of Polish National Final 2016, Radek Kobialko, published the TV advertisement about the show scheduled for 5th March. Advert will promote the Final in Polish Television TVP during the whole week. “We prepared the show in record short time but with great care to secure attractiveness and importance for the viewers and artists” – he stated on Facebook page. Kobialko is proud that all radio stations play songs from the competition and comment that National Final has never been so strong.

It was also announced Andrzej Piaseczny (known previously as Piasek) will be the special guest act of the evening. 45-years old singer represented Poland in 2001 with the song “2 long” which was the very first Polish entry singing in English on Eurovision stage. Altough he was one of the favorite, he finished on 20th place with 11 points only and also won the Barbara Dex Award.

After short break he decided to take part in another competition and won Sopot Festival 2005 with the song “Z glebi duszy”. His latest album “Kalejdoskop” was released one year ago.
