Freddie is YOUR winner of A Dal 2016!

The Grand Final of A Dal 2016 is taking place tonight, where eight acts are going to compete in order to represent Hungary in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016!

First the four member jury are going to cast their votes after all the songs have been performed. They will give  4 points to their fourth favourite, six to their third favourite, eight to their second favourite and 10 points to their personal favourite song. The top four coming out of this voting will proceed to the Super-Final, where televoters from all over the world will have a chance to select Hungary’s Eurovision entrant(s) for Stockholm.

ESCBubble ran a poll in the past week, where we asked you which of the eight acts you would like to see representing Hungary in Stockholm. The clear winner of our poll is Freddie who received 60,57% of the votes, and is followed by Kállay Saunders Band with 12,57% in second, and Gergő Oláh with 9,71% in third. Here are the full results:

  1. Freddie – Pioneer – 60,57%
  2. Kállay Saunders Band – Who We Are – 12,57%
  3. Gergő Oláh – Győz a jó – 9,71%
  4. Olivér Berkes and Andi Tóth – Seven Seas – 6,00%
  5. Petruska – Trouble In My Mind – 4,57%
  6. Mushu – Uncle Tom – 2,86%
  7. André Vásáry – Why – 2,57%
  8. Parno Graszt – Már nem szédülök – 1,14%

Our editors have re-watched the performances of the eight acts from the semi finals, and cast their votes. The top four acts our editors think should make the Super-Final are as follows:

  1. Freddie – Pioneer
  2. Olivér Berkes and Andi Tóth – Seven Seas
  3. Kállay Saunders Band – Who We Are
  4. Gergő Oláh – Győz a jó

Our editors have the same top four as our readers, just in a slightly different order, but with the same act as Number 1.

Check back at ESCBubble, as we will have an interview with Zséda (one of the four juries). Also, starting from 19:30 we will have our live blog on, where we will inform you about everything you need to know about tonight’s show, and we will also translate all the jury comments on each and every of the songs, and explain in full how the voting will work. Don’t forget that you can influence the result from any country in the world, if you download the A Dal 2016 App on your smartphone!

Also, we will close our poll until the show finishes, so you can keep voting for your favourite song right here:
