Freddie to represent Hungary in Eurovision 2016!

The Grand Final of A Dal 2016 finished moments ago, where the 14th Eurovision entrant for Hungary was selected. Eight acts competed, and the jury has selected four to go to the Super-Final. Then the televoters from all over the world have decided that Freddie is going to be representing Hungary in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm, with the song “Pioneer”!

After all the eight songs were performed, the juries voted for their four favourites by giving 4, 6, 8 and 10 points. The jury’s top four were:

  1. Freddie – Pioneer
  2. Gergő Oláh – Győz a jó
  3. Kállay Saunders Band – Who We Are
  4. Petruska – Trouble In My Mind

These four acts went to the televoting round, where all the people all around the world could vote through the A Dal 2016 app, via SMS, or online at mediaklikk.hu/adal, and they decided that the winner is – Freddie.
