It’s Barei for Spain!

Moments ago, Objetivo Eurovisión took place, and the act which is going to be representing Spain at Eurovision 2016 has been chosen!

Barei with her song Say Yay! won the Spanish National Final during tonight’s live programme that was broadcast from Madrid.

The singer fought off another five contestants in the competition, and is the act to be flying the Spanish flag in Stockholm in May!

Tonight’s winner was chosen from a combination of televoting, a panel of guest judges, and an International Jury that was made up of various professionals from the entertainment industry.

The scoreboard was as follows:
114 Barei
94 Xuso Jones
72 Salvador Beltran
68 Maria Isabel
66 Maverick
66 Electric Nana

Spain, along with their singer, Barei, will join the rest of the ‘Big Five’ countries in the Saturday night Eurovision Grand Final on May 14th! Give a listen to “Say Yay” right here:
