Tonight, was held in Latvia, the Final of Supernova 2016, the Latvian national selection for Eurovision 2016. 4 acts (Justs, Catalepsia, MyRadiantU and Marta Ritova) competed with the hope of obtaining the golden ticket to represent Latvia in Stockholm, in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.
During the two heats and the semi-final, the panel of judges chose 2 of the qualifiers and the 2 others were chosen by the public. Tonight, the winner of Supernova 2016 was chosen by the televoters only.
At the end of the show, Justs triumphed and will represent his country in Stockholm, at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. He will compete with his song ”Heartbeat” in the second semi-final of Eurovision 2016, on the 12th of May.
