34-years old singer from Siauliai – Ruta Sciogolevaite – wins sixth part of Lithuanian Selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with her entry “United”. She received 12 points from Lithuanian jury, only 8 points from International jury but won televoting with 1808 individual votes. She collects 22 points in total. The biggest surprise was Erica Jennings who finished second with 20 points (10 points from each jury and from public). Donny Montell failed to beat Ruta and Erica as he finished only third with 19 points. Former Lithuanian Eurovision entrant received 12 points from Local and International Jury but failed to impress viewers – he was only third in televoting with 1234 individual votes. Valdas Lacko finished fourth and Catrinah was fifth – they both qualified to next round.

Three acts have been eliminated tonight – Petunija (9 points), Egle Jakstyte (10 points) and Istvan Kvik ft. Ellada (12 points). We will meet with Ruta, Erica, Donny, Valdas and Catrinah again in episode eight which will be aired on 27th February. You can listen to those five songs below:
