Scandal in Bosnia: Zuzi Zu to sue BH Eurosong team!

As Danas24.com just reported, the famous Bosnian singer Zuzi Zu is about to sue BH Eurosong due to the usage of her vocals as a backup singer in “Ljubav je”, although she left the project before the official final version of the song was released.

Zuzi Zu was at very begining going to be a backing vocalist in their Eurovision entry, and she was going to go to Sweden in May. At the premiere of the song “Ljubav Je”, which was organised in Sarajevo City Hall, Zumreta Midžić, or shortly, Zuzi Zu wasn’t present as she left the project, although originally she was the one who was supposed to sing the backing vocals. Zuzi Zu is saying that they used her backing vocals in final version of “Ljubav Je” without her approval, and thus the singer is considering a lawsuit against the BH Eurosong. On the other side, the author, producer and composer of the song “Ljubav Je”, Almir Ajanović, claims that Zuzi Zu was actually disqualified from Eurovision team.

Her vocals are no longer there, and we have used vocals of Elma Selimović and Zorana Guje. Zuzi Zu didn’t respect me as an executive producer, and she probably understood everything wrong, as from the beginning of this project she was not supposed to be a performer, only a backing singer. Let her sue us, I just do not know who exactly, because she asked me to remove her backing vocals from the demo version of our Eurovision entry, and that’s what I did” says Almir Ajanović, the composer of the song. Lejla A.Babović, the Head of Delegation for Bosnia & Herzegovina also explained that the Zuzi Zu left the project, because of the different attitudes to the rest of the team, and that the vocals are not irreplaceable.
