Televoting percentages from Objetivo Eurovision released!

The Spanish national broadcaster RTVE has just released the percentages of the televoting from Objetivo Eurovision – the national selection where Barei was chosen to represent Spain in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.

Even though Sebastian Beltran won the votes of the international jury, Barei won the votes of the three jury members in the studio, as well as the public vote, and thus won the rights to represent Spain in this year’s edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Now, RTVE has released the televoting percentages of the six participating songs. They are as follows:

  1. Barei: 38,22%
  2. Xuso Jones: 29,55%
  3. María Isabel: 15,69%
  4. Electric Nana: 6,21%
  5. Maverick: 6,10%
  6. Salvador Beltrán: 4,23%

Barei received more televotes than the entries placed 3-6 all together! She will be representing her country with the song “Say Yay”, and for the first time ever, Spain will be represented with a song sung entirely in English. Give this song a listen right here:
