Ukraine has chosen – Six qualifiers to perform in the Final!
There was Glam Rock, J-Pop, Funk, Electronica and Schlager, but after tonight’ Second Semi Final, Ukraine has chosen the final three acts that have qualified to the National Final.
Participants who are going through to the Finals are:
- NuAngels – “Higher”
- Pur:Pur – “We Do Change”
- SunSay – “Love Manifest”
They will be joined by these three acts, who qualified in last week’s First Semi Final held on the 6th of February.
- The Hardkiss – “Helpless”
- Jamala – “1944”
- Brunettes Shoot Blondes – “Every Monday”
The results were decided by a split vote consisting of 50% public televote and 50% Jury vote. Once again, Jury members Konstantin Meladze (Composer/Producer), Ruslana (Winner 2004 ESC) and Andriy Danylko (Runner Up 2007 ESC as Verka Serduchka) were on hand throughout the night to provide commentary and critique of all acts..
SunSay won the 9 Jury votes, followed by Pur:Pur with 8 points and NuAngels with 7 points.
SunSay was also the winner in the televote, winning 9 points, NuAngels won 8 points and Pur:Pur won 7 points.
The six remaining acts will compete in the Ukrainian National Final to be held on the 21st of February in Kiev. Which one is your favourite? Let us know in our poll here:
