Confirmed: Sanja Vucic to represent Serbia in Eurovision 2016!

As we reported a couple of days ago, Sanja Vucic is going to represent Serbia at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. This news has now been officially confirmed by RTS, the Serbian national broadcaster.

Sanja Vucic is going to sing “Goodbye” at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm. This song was written by Ivana Peters (the lead singer of the band Negative, who tried to represent Serbia and Montenegro in 2004, and then Serbia in 2007 and 2008). The producers, arrangers, and the orchestra of RTS have all worked together on this song as well.

The Serbian Head of Delegation, Mr. Dragan Ilic said:

This year we wanted to present a young and talented singer, who’s performance and energy are going to be a surprise not only for the audience in Serbia, but also in the whole of Europe and Australia… We believe that she will present her song and represent our country in the best possible way.

Sanja Vucic will present “Goodbye” this coming Saturday, 12th of March in a special TV show on RTS – Pesma Srbije za Evropu (Eng. Serbia’s Song for Europe). In the meanwhile, check out this snippet of the song:
