Douwe Bob to sing “Slow Down” in Eurovision 2016!

Douwe Bob has just presented his Eurovision Song during a morning radio show. The song he will be singing at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is titled “Slow Down”.

Talking about the song, Douwe Bob said:

We are all going way too fast. There is constant pressure to prove yourself.Slow Down is a protest song against myself, against the pace at which I live life in Amsterdam. When walking through the forests of Sweden, or riding a horse through the fields in Spain, a peace descends on you and you see everything in a better perspective. It is such a great feeling!

Slow Down” was written by Jan Peter Hoekstra, Jeroen Overman, Matthijs van Duijvenbode and Douwe Bob himself. Give this song a listen right here:

The Netherlands will be taking part in the first semi final of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm on the 10th of March.
