Good evening everyone, and welcome to our live blog of the Semi Final of the Romanian Eurovision selection – Selectia Nationala!

A total of 12 songs will compete in tonight’s show for the six places in the Grand Final on Sunday. This is a rolling blog, so you don’t need to refresh the page, as all updates that happen in the show will appear automatically.

I watched Eurovision in 1998 for the first time (by accident), and wondered what this show was where this girl with a cape sang in Croatian on Hungarian television. It's needless to say that I watch this show ever since. 2008 in Belgrade was the first Eurovision I've ever been to, and since then I've been to most of them.
My favourite Eurovision winner is "Everyway That I Can", and one of my all time favorite Eurovision songs is "Igranka".
