Serbia to present the Eurovision song on the 10th of March!

The Serbian national broadcaster is going to hold a special TV show called “Pesma za Evropu” (Eng. Song for Europe) on the 10th of March, where the artist and the song that will represent Serbia in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest will be revealed!

There are various rumours going around about who could be the next entrant for Serbia. One of the strongest rumours going around are that the band Frajle is going to be representing Serbia in Stockholm. Other rumours appeared in the last couple of days regarding who could be the artist and the song. Some media claim it can be the lead singer of the band Zaa – Sanja Vucic with a song written by Ivana Peters (the lead singer of the band Negative, who tried to represent Serbia & Montenegro in Eurovision 2004, and Serbia in 2007 and 2008), while others claim it would be Luka Ivanovic (a.k.a. Luka Blek) – who is not yet an established artist.

“Pesma za Evropu” is scheduled for the 10th of March, and the show will start at 21:00 CET. The last time Serbia selected internally was back in 2012, when Zeljko Joksimovic was selected with “Nije ljubav stvar”.
