Freddie performs to a full house in Budapest!

This year’s Hungarian Eurovision entrant – Freddie, held a concert last night at the Akvárium Club in Budapest, and in a sold-out venue performed his songs and covers of world-wide known songs together with his band. This was part of the “Nagyszínpad” festival in which Freddie is taking part.

In a completely sold out venue, Freddie and his band Garami After Funky held a fantastic concert, where he performed his Eurovision entry “Pioneer”, his last year’s megahit “Mary Joe”, premiered his new song “Na jó, helló”, and also covered Prince’s “Purple Rain”, Kings of Leon’s “Sex On Fire”, John Newman’s “Love Me Again”, Michael Jackson’s “Give In To Me”, and other songs. He was also joined on stage by four members of the acappella group Fool Moon, who were also his backing vocalists in A Dal.

ESCBubble was present at this concert, and we have recorded Freddie’s performances from this concert. You can check out all of his covers, as well as to listen to his brand new song (written by Zé Szabó – the composer of “Pioneer”, with the lyrics written by Jenő Bartalos – a member of Egy Másik Zenekar, who also took part in this year’s edition of A Dal), and of course “Pioneer” in this playlist right here:

If you share any of Freddie’s performances on social media, make sure you use the two hashtags #freddie and #nsz, as it will count as a vote for Freddie, who can then qualify for the Final of the “Nagyszínpad” festival, which will take place one day after the Eurovision Final, on the 15th of May.

Freddie will take part in the first semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest on the 10th of May in Stockholm, and he will perform fourth on the night.
