Hello everyone! After last night’s extravaganza where 10 songs qualified for Saturday’s Grand Final, 18 more countries will compete for the final ten Grand Final spots in tomorrow’s second semi-final. The first dress rehearsal takes place this afternoon at 1700 CET and we’re here in the press centre to blog all the action and our thoughts from the Globe Arena!
Languages. Flags. Numbers. Three of my favourite things. So it’s really no surprise that I am a fan of the Eurovision Song Contest! I’ve been obsessed since 1989 when I turned on the TV to see this strange show with people from different countries singing in different languages wearing sparkly outfits and then voting on each other’s songs! I was instantly hooked! I’ve now been to ten Eurovision and looking forward to number eleven in Israel. My favourite Eurovision song of all time is ‘Quand je te rêve’ by Céline Carzo (Luxembourg 1990). I’m pretty sure no one else can say the same thing!
