Croatian broadcaster HRT confirmed to Eurosong.hr that Croatia will take part in Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv. The method of selecting new entry is not determinated yet and will be revealed later.

Croatia returned to the Eurovision in 2016 after 2 years break. Nina Kraljić, the winner of “The Voice of Croatia” represented her country with the song “Lighthouse” and reached 23rd place in the final with 73 points. That was the first Croatian participation in the Eurovision final since 2009.

HRT is the second ex-Yugoslav public broadcaster to confirm participation in Eurovision 2017. We are still waiting for any information from Serbia, Macedonia and  Montenegro, while Slovenia already confirmed it and Bosnia and Hercegovina will most likely withdraw again due to financial issues.
