Kiev to host Eurovision Song Contest 2017!

With some delay and fans on panic minutes ago, the decision were made by the President of Ukraine, the Prime Minister and the EBU, who had come together in the concept of chossing Kiev as the host city for the next Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held next May.

According to the live stream of the press briefing earlier today, the contest will be held in the Kiev’s International Exhibition Centre, with a capacity of 13.000 people. not as they firstly suggested in the Palace Of Sports, which also held the contest in 2005 and the Junior Eurovision in 2013.

Ukraine won the Eurovision Song Contest for second time in 2016, giving them the chance to host Eurovision next year, thanks to Jamala with her song 1944. International Exhibition Centre will host Semi-Final 1 on May 9th, Semi-Final 2 on May 11th, as well as Grand Final on May 13th.
