Margaret joins the jury for JESC selection in Poland

Runner-up of Polish National Final for Eurovision 2016 – Margaret – joins the jury of Polish Junior Eurovision 2016 Selection. The final will take place on 15th October 17:30 CET. The winner will be decided by jury and the audience (50/50). Among Margaret two other jury member will be pop-singer Anna Wyszkoni and journalist Marcin Kusy. Anna took part in Polish National Final for Eurovision 2004 together with the band Łzy and she reached 2nd place for the song “Julia, tak na imię mam”. Marcin Kusy was a member of Polish National Jury during Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm, and gave his 12 points to Jamala in the final.

TVP did not announce the confirmed list of all National Final participants, but thanks to social media we can already confirm 9 out of 10 finalists.

  • Dominika Ptak Jak kropla
  • Julia Chmielerska Na skrzydłach dni
  • Ania Dąbrowska Fryzurka
  • ARFIK Tango dla kotów
  • Olivia Wieczorek Nie zapomnij
  • Amelia Andryszczyk
  • Ula Dorosz
  • ASMki Do końca świata
  • Jagoda Krystek
  • ?

Olivia Wieczorek seems to be an early fan-favorite as her song is written by well-known composer Piotr Rubik. Olivia was in his (winning) team during the talent-show “Mali Giganci” (based on Mexican format “Pequeños Gigantes”). Most likely all songs won’t be released before the National Final. The show will be hosted by Radek Brzozka. Margaret and Anna Wyszkoni will perform during the Interval Act as they both prepare some special music surprises.

Poland is back to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest after massive 12 years break. TVP participated in first two contests, reached the last place in both occasions.
