Festivali i Këngës – Semi Final 1 LIVE!

Tonight is the OFFICIAL start of Eurovision 2017 season with the first semi of Festivali i Këngës from the Palace of Congress in Tirana

The show is hosted by Ledina Çelo (Eurovision 2005) & Kasem Hoxha. Tonight, 12 singers will perform their song, but we will not know the results until after the second semi-final tomorrow. After both semi-finals have been held an “expert” jury will select 8 songs for the final, a public jury will select 3 songs & a media jury will select 3 songs, making a total of 16 songs in the final, which will be held on Friday 23 December.

  4. Erlind Zeraliu – Dhimbja e gëzimit (The pain of happiness)
  5. Xhesika Polo – Eva jam unë (I am Eva)
  6. Festina Mejzini – Atje lart (Up there)
  7. Edea Demaliaj – Besoj në ëndrra (I believe in dreams)
  8. Neki Emra – Dashuri dhe urrejtje(Love and hate)
  9. Yll Limani – Shiu (The rain)
  10. Franc Koruni Macka (Kitty)
  11. Orges Toçe – Shi diamantësh(Diamond rain)
  12. Lynx – Sot (Today)

    This could be a long night with the snippets from FiK past, unless they are spreading them over the three nights 😉

    These shows usually go on for quite a long time and with some “dead time” with only talking and such. Not very well organised, but that’s the charm I guess 😉
