Demy represents Greece in Kiev!

There were rumours before but today Greek broadcaster ERT has confirmed them: it will be Demy who will be representing Greece in Kiev next year!
Demy has been a big name in the Greek music scene for the past years now and has expressed her desire to go to the Eurovision Song Contest before.

Another rumour that has turned out to be true is that Dimitris Kontopoulos, the composer of Eurovision entries like Ani Lorak’s Shady Lady, Farid Mammadov’s Hold Me and Sergey Lazarev’s You Are The Only One, to name a few, will be behind Demy’s entry. Inevitably even as Kontopoulos has composed all three songs Demy will be performing during a national selection, where televoters only have a say in which one of the three songs will be their Eurovision entry.
Fokas Evangelinos will be involved again as well, taking care of the staging.

The date of the national final will be announced at a later stage.

Give a listen below to Demy singing a Greek-English version of Poli Genova’s If Love Was A Crime together with Poli herself!
