Jetlag disqualified from A Dal 2017, Chase is in instead!

Just over 10 days before the Hungarian national selection A Dal 2017 kicks off, there is a change in the line-up. Jetlag have been disqualified from the competition, and replaced by Chase and his song “Dust In The Wind”.

Jetlag have qualified for A Dal 2017 with their song “Keresem a bajt” (eng. I’m looking for trouble), and this song was already becoming a hit in Hungary. The band has been disqualified as they weren’t able to cope with the strict rules regarding the scheduling of the shows, and even though MTVA reached out to them various times to find a solution, a co-operation wasn’t established. Due to this fact, Jetlag will not be taking part in the competition.

In cases such as this one, the song that finished in 31st place with the preselection jury will now get a chance to take part in the competition, and that is the song “Dust In The Wind”, sung by Chase (real name: Csipo Koppany). He tried his luck in the very last edition of X Factor which ended a couple of weeks ago, but was unsuccessful in the auditions where he tried his luck singing “Relax” by Mika.

“Dust In The Wind” was written by Dániel Somogyvári and Johnny K. Palmer, while the lyrics are written by David Henderson and Johnny once again. You can listen to Chase’s entry right here:
