Tonight, in a live broadcast, broadcaster RÚV have announced which songs will be participating in Söngvakeppnin 2017, the Icelandic national selection.
All songs have both and English and an Icelandic version, that’s why in all cases but one there are two different titles.
They have selected 12 songs:

Svala Björgvinnsdóttir – Ég veit það/Paper
Júlí Heiðar Halldórsson og Þórdís Birna Borgarsdóttir – Heim til þín/Get Back Home
Daði Freyr Pétursson – Hvað með það?/Is This Love?
Rúnar Eff – Mér við hlið/Make Your Way Back Home
Aron Hannes – Nótt/Tonight
Erna Mist Pétursdóttir – Skuggamund/I’ll Be Gone
Arnar Jónsson og Rakel Pálsdóttir – Til mín/Again
Sólveig Ásgeirsdóttir – Treystu á mig/Trust In Me
Aron Brink – Þu hefur dáleitt mig/Hypnotised
Páll Rósinkranz og Kristina Bærendsen – Þú og ég/You and I

There will be semi-finals on the 25 of February and the 4th of March, with the final on March 11 in the Laugardalshöll in Reykjavík.
Of each semi-final, three songs will be sent to the final through televoting. In these semi-finals the songs must be performed in Icelandic, whereas the choice for the final is free.
