A few days ago HRT announced that Jacques Houdek will be representing Croatia at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place in Kiev. The song that Jacques will be singing in Kiev is titled “My Friend”.
When talking about his song, Jacques said:
Same as with each of my songs so far, I want people to extend a sense of community, friendship and respect for diversity with my Eurovision song as well. Think of your friends, make them happy with a photograph that you will dedicate to them, show them how much they mean to you, make new friends. Let this song and the campaign #beMyfriend celebrate friendship, the joy of life and the priceless treasure that is based on love, trust and reciprocal respect.
“My Friend” will be released in the coming weeks.
Croatia will be taking part in the second half of the second semi final in Kiev on the 11th of May.
