Tonight, the Moldovan semi-final took place in Chisinau and 14 songs battled it out for just 8 spots in the final.

Firstly the juries voted, and the top 4 songs qualified directly to the final. These 4 songs (in finishing order) were:

1. SunStroke Project – Hey Mamma
2. Ethno Republic & Surorile Osoianu – Discover Moldova
3. Diana Brescan – Breath
4. Aurel Chirtoacă  – Dor de mamă

After this, the televoting opened for the remaining 10 songs, and the 4 which received the most votes also qualified for the final. These 4 songs (in finishing order) were:

1. Marks & Ștefăneț – Join Us in the Rain
2. Samir Loghin – Glow
3. Valeria Paşa – Freedom
4. Vozniuc feat. Vio Grecu – Don’t Lie

The final takes place tomorrow evening, where one act will become the successor to Lidia Isac and try to take Moldova into the final for the first time since 2013, when Aliona Moon came 12th.

The draw for the final also took place live in the show and is as follows:
