Moments ago, the participants in Melodi Grand Prix 2017 were revealed by Jan Fredrik Karlsen, musical chief for Melodi Grand Prix (it is him who gathers the songs for the national final) and Head of Delegation for Norway.
Ten acts were selected and they are, the songwriters between brackets:

2. Ulrikke – Places (Ulrikke Brandstorp, Tony Alexander Skjevik)
3. Amina Sewali – Mesterverk (Amina Sewali)
4. JOWST – Grab The Moment (Joakim With Steen, Jonas McDonnell
)
5. Kristian Valen – You & I (Kristian Valen)
6. Elin & The Woods – First step in faith/Oadjebasvuhtii (Elin Kåven, Robin Lynch)
7. Jenny Augusta – I Go Where You Go (Jenny Augusta, Þyri Þórðardóttir)
8. Ella – Mamma Boy (Ida Maria Børli Sivertsen, Per Kristian Ottestad)
9. Rune Rudberg Band – Run Run Away (Peter Danielson, Åsa Larsson, Mats Larsson)
10. In Fusion – Nothing Ever Knocked Us Over (Gustav Euren, Danne Atlerud, Niklas Arn, Ulrik Eurén, Cissi Kallin)
The front man of Ammunition is Åge Sten Nilsen, who fronted Wig Wam at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 for Norway, coming 9th.

The final will take place at Oslo Spektrum on the 11th of March and the winner will represent Norway, starting with the second semi-final on May 11 in Kyiv, Ukraine!
