Robin Bengtsson ”I can’t even imagine how that would feel!”

Robin Bengtsson came 3rd in Idol in Sweden in 2008 and made a huge comeback at Melodifestivalen last year by qualifying to the final directly with ”Constellation Prize”.
This year he is back with ”I Can’t Go On”. Robin made some time for ESCBubble and you can read our interview here below:

Congratulations on being selected for Melodifestivalen again, Robin! What was your first reaction when you heard it?

I was super happy because I had such a great time last year and it has made a lot difference for my career! I’m really thankful for getting this opportunity again!

Could you tell us a bit about yourself?

I guess I’m a pretty normal 27 year old guy from Sweden. I love to sing, ride motocross, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

What is your song about?

It’s a playful, kind of sexy song with a lot of funk and an up-tempo beat!
It has laid back verses with a massive chorus!!

What made you decide to participate in Melodifestivalen again?

As I said, it was so much fun last year and I just wanted to do it all over again right after we were done haha. So I’m really looking forward to it!

What would it mean to you to win Melodifestivalen?

It would be huge. I can’t even imagine how that would feel. I’m trying not to think about to much, it will be a great experience no matter how it goes.

What kind of music do you listen to yourself?

I listen to all kind of music, mainly pop/soul/rnb/rock. Old and new music. I like to be inspired by all kinds of music and different artists.

What is your favourite food?

I don’t know really…but I love meat and I know it’s bad for the environment and your body if you have too much of it. So I’m trying to avoid it but it’s not going very well!

Do you have a favourite Eurovision song?

Euphoria is a favorite of mine. It was pure magic when Loreen entered the stage that night:)

What¹s your favourite song right now?

Right now as I’m writing this I’m listening to John Mayers latest EP with 4 new songs. Really great tracks and I have always loved his music.

Do you have a message for the readers of ESCBubble?
