The second semi-final of Söngvakeppnin 2017 will take place on Saturday, in Iceland. Six acts will compete with the hope of obtaining one of the three tickets for the Final of the Icelandic national selection for Eurovision 2017. Yesterday, RUV, the Icelandic broadcaster, announced the running order for the show:
- Linda Hartmanns – Ástfangin
- Daði Freyr Pétursson – Hvað með það?
- Svala – Ég veit það
- Páll Rósinkranz og Kristina Bærendsen – Þú og ég
- Sólveig Ásgeirsdóttir – Treystu á mig
- Aron Brink – Þú hefur dáleitt mig
Last week, three acts already qualified for the Final from the first semi-final. Aron Hannes, Rúnar Eff and Arnar Jónsson & Rakel Pálsdótir advanced to the next round and can still hope of winning the competition and getting the chance to represent their country in Kiev.
Last year, Greta Salome represented Iceland in Stockholm, with her song ”Hear them calling”. She finished 14th in the first semi-final, with a total of 51 points.
