It’s Fusedmarc for Lithuania!
Tonight saw the final of Lithuania’s “Eurovizijos” selection process in Švyturio Arena in Klaipeda.
Seven acts had made it through 8 heats, a semi final and a repechage round to appear tonight, and the winner was to be chosen by 50% public vote and 50% jury vote. In an extra twist, each contestant would choose one juror’s scores to count by randomly selecting an envelope, meaning that 5 of the juror’s scores were instantly redundant.
Special guests tonight included Sunstroke Project from Moldova with their Eurovision entry “Hey Mamma” and a performance from guest judges, Lauris Reiniks and Chloe Maggs.
After the televote round, the scores were as follows:
Group Fusedmarc 15,324
Aistė Pilvelytė 14,438
Lolita Zero 5,356
Kotryna Juodzevičiūtė 4,309
Paula 4,240
Greta Zazza 3,225
Gabrielius Vagelis 2,223
But as stated above, the jury had a 50% say in the matter and therefore, everything could change.
Once all the envelopes were read out, and the points converted into Eurovision style, the final results were as follows:
Group Fusedmarc 12
Aistė Pilvelytė 10
Kotryna Juodzevičiūtė 8
Lolita Zero 7
Gabrielius Vagelis 6
Greta Zazza 5
Paula 4
