Serbia confirms national selection for Junior Eurovision 2017!

RTS have just confirmed a Serbian participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017. On their website they announce an open call for songs and announce they will be holding a public selection to choose their entry for the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

The open call will close on 15th of August and further rules can be read here (in Serbian). They also include the usual Junior Eurovision rules of the song not being longer than three minutes, the entrant being between 9 and 14 on the day of the international final and not more than six people on stage.

Last year, Serbia was represented by Dunja Jeličić with ‘U la la la’:

 

A date for the national final itself has not been given yet.

This year the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be on the 26th of November in Tbilisi, Georgia.
