Very sad news from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their broadcaster BHRT just confirmed that they are not making a comeback to the Eurovision Song Contest next year in Lisbon.

In June ESCBubble reported on the financial difficulties the broadcaster is facing and that the international community came together in an attempt to save public service media in Bosnia-Herzegovina, something then-outgoing General Director of the EBU, Ingrid Deltenre, is vital to democratic societies.

Apparently things didn’t work out as hoped, at least not to the point where a Eurovision participation is affordable and broadcaster BHRT announced on their Twitter account, even though decorated in next year’s contest’s style, that they would not be present in Portugal:
