Romanian broadcaster TVR have just released the full list of semi-finalists for the national selection next year!

Auditions have been held last Tuesday and Wednesday in front of jury, a jury that amongst others Ilinca (Romania 2017) was part of. The other 4 members were Liliana Ștefan, Viorel Gavrilă, Nicu Patoi (was on stage with Mălina Olinescu for Romania at Eurovision 1998) and Marian Ionescu.

The full list can be seen here, with the songtitle in the first column, the composers and lyricists in the second one and the performer in the last one.

Ovidiu Anton, who didn’t make it to the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm because Romania was not allowed to compete due to debt issues, did write a song this year, for Ayona. Mihai Traistariu is also back, he came 4th in 2006 with Tornerò, and competes with ‘Heaven’ this time, a song he has co-written:

And then we have Alex Florea who is also back! Alex scored a neat 7th place at Eurovision last year together with Ilinca when they sang Yodel It!

Semi-finals are planned through January and February and the Grand Final itself will be held on Sunday the 25th of February!
