The Eurovision final of Spain’s Operacion Triunfo ended only moments ago, and the Spanish entry for Lisbon has been selected – Alfred & Amaia with the song “Tu canción”, written by Raúl Gómez and Sylvia Santoro.
A total of six singers sang nine songs for representing Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest, and after the first round of voting three songs were selected – “Arde” sung by Aitana, “Tu cancion” sung by Alfred and Amaia, and “Lo malo” by Aitana and Ana Guerra.
After the second round of voting, Manel Navarro, last year’s Spanish Eurovision entrant revealed the results together with the hosts:
- Alfred & Amaia – Tu cancion – 43%
- Aitana – Arde – 31%
- Aitana & Ana War – Lo malo – 26%
