Be the fifth jury member in A Dal 2018!

A Dal 2018 kicks off tomorrow evening at 20:30 live on Duna and Duna World, and YOU can be the fifth jury member in the show, wherever you are in the world! You can have a say in the results even if you are not living or residing in Hungary (even if you have never actually been to Hungary).

MTVA has developed a new application “A Dal 2018” which you can download on your smartphone (IOS or Android), and become the “fifth jury member” by rating all the songs, and voting at the end of the show.

Once you have downloaded the application for free, you need to register (you can do it simply via Facebook or Google Plus). You will then be able to score each and every of the acts from 1 to 10, whilst they are being performed. Four jury members (Karoly Frenreisz, Misi Mezo, Judit Schell, and Miklos Both) will reveal their own scores, and then the average score from the app voting will be added to this score as well, as the fifth jury member. Your vote will count from whichever country you are in.

In the heats, five acts are going to qualify for the semi finals based on these results, and the remaining five will then face another round of voting – you will then be able to send an additional vote for one of the remaining five songs through the app, or send up to 20 text messages for your favorite(s). App voting is completely free, whilst the price of sending a text message is the same as if you have texted your friend in Hungary (prices of text messages vary based on the country you are in).

With this app, you will be able to score all the acts in all three heats and two semi finals, and vote for your favorite song in the Grand Final.

The first heat starts tomorrow at 20:30 CET, and a live broadcast will be available on MTVA’s official website here (click). In the meanwhile, you can check here the line-up of the first heat, and you can also vote for those songs you would like to see proceed to the semi finals:
