Depi Evratesil to start on the 19th of February, with the final on the 25th!

As we all know, Armenia’s national broadcaster is organizing “Depi Evratesil” for the second year in a row, where the Armenian Eurovision entrant is going to be selected. After releasing all of the 20 participating songs in this selection, AMPTV has informed us that their shows are going to start on the 19th of February.

This year’s Depi Evratesil is going to consist of three shows – two semi finals with 10 songs in each, and a Grand Final, where the best five songs from each of the semi finals will be competing, making it a final of 10 songs. The first semi final will be held on the 19th of February, the second semi on the 22nd of February, whilst the Grand Final will be held on the 25th of February.

The ten finalists (five from each of the two semi finals) are going to be selected by a mix of televoting, and votes of an international jury. The full split of acts per semi finals is going to be announced on the 12th of February. In the meanwhile, let us know in the comments which of the 20 acts is your favorite in this year’s Armenian selection!

Last year Artsvik won Depi Evratesil, and went on to represent Armenia at Eurovision in Kiev with the song “Fly With Me”. In the end she finished in 18th place in the Grand Final.
