While the national final season is in full steam, some former Eurovision artists are busy releasing new music. András Kallay Saunders – Hungary’s representative at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest has completed his new album “Grind”, and it’s now available on all digital platforms.
His last album “Delivery Boy” came out in 2015 and since then András has been restless putting out singles, touring with his band, competing in A Dal twice, in 2016 and 2017. This year he decided not to enter the competition, as he was concentrating on finishing his new album.
The songs on the album are not completely unknown, as “Grind”, “Lighters” and “Nachos” have already been released as singles last year. With ”Nachos”, András achieved international success and a group of US producers became interested in his work. Then we have the song “Forever”, András’ first duet with girlfriend Reni Tolvai (contestant of this year’s A Dal). The newest single and video is for “Rockstar”, a mid-tempo mix of soul and hip-hop, with explicit lyrics.
András’ main goal with “Grind” is to start an international career, so he’s going to promote it in the US as well. You can check out the video for his newest single “Rockstar” here:
