In a press conference Česká televize have just revealed who the six finalists fighting for a ticket to the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon are. These six songs are by six different singers in six different genres and have been chosen from more than 400 submissions (of which 36 were by local songwriters).

Their names and the titles of their songs are:

Mikolas Josef – Lie To Me
Eva Burešová – Fly
Eddie Stoilow – We Rule This World
Pavel Callta – Never Forget
Doctor Victor – Stand Up
Debbi – High On Love

Creative Producer at ČT Jan Potměšil and Czech Head of Delegation Jan Bors confirm that the voting in the final will be done via the official Eurovision app and that the final outcome of the national final will be decided by a mix of the votes from that app and an international jury. In case of a tie, the public decides!

This national final will take place on Monday the 29th of January.
