Mikolas Josef represents the Czech Republic with ‘Lie to Me’!

It has just been confirmed in a news broadcast from channel ČT24: Mikolas Josef is the overall winner in the Czech national final and will represent the country in the Eurovision Song Contest with his song ‘Lie to Me’.

Last week it was revealed that Mikolas had won the jury voting (with 68 out of 80 possible points) and today it was confirmed that altogether he was the one who come out victorious.

Mikolas Josef is 22 years old and was born in Prague to parents who are both English teachers and has a brother named Petr. Mikolas himself attended English school as a kid. He later went to study at and graduate from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. At 17 he started to do modelling work for brands as Prada and Diesel but later left the industry to pursue a career in music.
