Moments ago, the Danish national broadcaster DR has revealed which 10 acts are going to be competing in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2018, in order to become the next Danish entrant in the Eurovision Song Contest.
The 10 participants of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2018 are as follows:
- Ditte Marie – Riot
- Anna Ritsmar – Starlight
- Rasmussen – Higher Ground
- Sannie – Boys On Girls
- Sandra – Angels To My Battlefield
- Lasse Meling – Unfound

In the participant list we find Ditte Marie and Albin Fredy, both of who have already competed to represent Denmark in Eurovision in the past – Ditte Marie was a member of Le Freak in 2011, and then tried again as a soloist 2012, whilst Albin Fredy took part in 2013.
DR’s Entertainment Manager, Jan Lagermand Lundme spoke about the song selection, and stated the following:
I promise that it will be a fantastic show this year. We have an incredibly strong team of songwriters and the right mix of experience and young talent among the ten participants of the year. There is something to suit all tastes, so I’m really looking forward to Annette Heick and Johannes Nymark again blinding up for a huge Grand Prix party for the whole of Denmark.
Dansk Melodi Grand Prix will take place in Aalborg on the 10th of February, and the winner will be selected in two rounds of voting – first the top three acts going to be selected in a mix of jury votes and televoting, and then the winner will be chosen by televoting only in the second round.
