Ermal Meta & Fabrizio Moro win Sanremo and will represent Italy in Eurovision!

The Grand Final of the traditional Sanremo music festival took place last night in Italy. In a final of 20 songs, the top three acts were Annalisa (in 3rd place), Lo Stato Sociale (2nd place), and Ermal Meta & Fabrizio Moro who won with the song “Non mi avete fatto niente”.

During the final of Sanremo, the top three were selected in the following way: 30% of the result came from the Press Centre Jury, 20% came from expert jurors and 50% from televoting. The top three acts faced another round of voting in the Superfinal, where then the winner was selected.

After winning Sanremo, Ermal Meta and Fabrizio Moro were offered the opportunity to represent Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, and it was an offer they said yes to, thus we shall be seeing them in Lisbon! Give a listen to their entry right here:
