1in360, the company that was in charge of organizing San Marino’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, have just announced that Basti – one of the 11 finalists of this selection, will be joining Jessika and Jenifer Brening on the Eurovision stage in Lisbon, as their backing vocalist.

Basti was one of the 11 finalists of San Marino’s Eurovision selection last month, and his performance of “Stay” failed to finish in the top five. Nevertheless, he has been selected as the backing singer of the winners of this selection – Jessika and Jenifer, who will be performing “Who We Are” for San Marino in the second semi final, on the 10th of May in Lisbon.

Basti (Sebastian Schmidt) is a German singer, who took part in the second season of the German X Factor. He got to the judges houses stage, where Das Bo didn’t pick him as one of the three acts he was taking through to the live finals.
