Eugent Bushpepa releases the final version of ‘Mall’ for Albania!

Eugent Bushpepa, the artist chosen to represent Albania at 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, has today released the final version of his entry ‘Mall’.

Way back on 23rd December 2017, Eugent won the 56th edition of Festivali i Këngës, the song contest used by the Albanian broadcaster RTSH to select the country’s Eurovision entry.

Initially the song ‘Mall’ (English: ‘Yearning) was well in excess of 3 minutes in length and therefore needed to become compliant with the contests rules.  Therefore a new version was necessary but the artist has decided to keep the song in Albanian, which is unusual for recent entrants from Albania.

You can watch the official video for the final version here:

Eugent Bushpepa is 33 years old and is from Rrëshan in Albania.  He has been on the Albanian music scene since 2006 and taken part in the popular TOP FEST.

‘Mall’ will be performed in the first half of the first semi final on May 8th in Lisbon.

What do you think of the new version of ‘Mall?  Do you think it will qualify out of Semi Final 1? Let us know your thoughts.
