Tonight, it was Sweden’s turn to select its song for Eurovision 2018. 12 acts competed in the Final of Melodifestivalen with the hope of winning the show and representing their country at Eurovision:

3. Martin Almgren – A Bitter Lullaby
4. John Lundvik – My Turn
5. Jessica Andersson – Party Voice
6. LIAMOO – Last Breath
7. Samir & Viktor – Shuffla
8. Mariette – For You
9. Felix Sandman – Every single day
10. Margaret – In my cabana
11. Βenjamin Ingrosso – Dance You Off
12. Rolandz – Fuldans
At the end of the night, Βenjamin Ingrosso won the show and will represent Sweden in Lisbon, with his song “Dance You Off”.
Tonight’s winner was chosen by the televoters (50%) and by an international jury (50%). Benjamin Ingrosso won both the jury vote and the televote.

Benjamin Ingrosso will compete in the second semi-final in Lisbon, on 10 May. Last year, Robin Bengtsson represented Sweden in Kyiv and finished in 5th place, with 344 points.
